๐๐ซ๐๐๐ข๐ญ ๐ญ๐ข๐ฉ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฒ:
Stop focusing only on your score. Start focusing on your habits.
Iโve seen people obsess over a number while ignoring the very things controlling the number.
A few things that matter more than people realize:
โ๏ธ Paying on time
โ๏ธ Keeping balances low
โ๏ธ Not applying for everything
โ๏ธ Letting strong accounts age
โ๏ธ Actually checking your reports for errors
Strong credit is not built from desperation decisions.
Itโs built from consistency.
And one of the biggest mistakes I see?
People max out cards and then wonder why their score droppedโฆ even though they paid on time.
Payment history matters.
But utilization matters too.
A person with a $500 card carrying a $490 balance looks risky on paper, even if they pay every month.
Credit is a strategy game whether people like it or not.
The good news?
Bad habits can be corrected.
Mistakes can be fixed.
And financial education changes things.
