We visited the Cumberland County and Effingham County 4-H youth livestock auctions this year. I'm always impressed with all the 4-H kids, they do a great job!

Rusty & I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary yesterday. Apparently I’m taking a lot of days off in July.

Change in Mileage rate for 2026. Under IRS announcement 2026-11 Effective July 1, 2026, the IRS raised the business mileage rate from 72.5 cents per mile (1/1/26-6/30/26) to 76 cents per mile (7/1/26-12/31/26).

If you bring business miles to me at the end of the year, you will need to have two numbers, one for first half of the year, one for the second half of the year.

I’m always excited for tax season to start but I’m more excited for it to end. Happy April 16th to my office. Thank you to everyone for being patient this year. I was very behind schedule this year so I will not be taking new clients this year. My office has a waiting list if you’d like to be on it.
