ROR Tax Professionals, LLC is a tax preparation/accounting office located in St. Louis Park, MN. Our office consists of a closely-knit group of open-minded tax professionals who serve clients based primarily in the MPLS – St. Paul area. Often when people conjure up their idea of what a tax firm looks like, we are proud to say that’s not us! We don’t wear ties, three-piece suits or high heels (in the office anyway), we don’t value stuffy office environments, and we don’t serve cheap coffee. We do wear shorts and sandals in the summer, we do have tattoos, we do value laughter and diversity, and we do serve awesome coffee! We deeply value our eclectic and sometimes eccentric client base and love to serve them in our best capacity.
We are looking for an experienced tax preparer that is ready to take over a book of business. The clients consist mostly of individuals with investment income, small business, and rental activities.
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Interface with clients face-to-face while following office Covid protocol, attend virtual meetings, and employ use of clear, concise email correspondence to collect data, understand clients’ situations, and build strong client relationships
- Use your ever-growing tax knowledge and research skills to accurately prepare and review federal and state income tax returns
- Tax plan with clients in the off-season
- Other duties as assigned
A Senior Tax Accountant will have the following skill set/abilities/knowledge:
- Work independently and efficiently with a sense of entrepreneurial spirit to develop a personal business within our firm
- Be effective at communicating with clients through in-person meetings, emails, phone calls and virtual meetings
- Perform highly detailed work under tight time constraints
- Employ the highest ethical standards to create a strong reputation for themselves and the firm
- Exude trustworthiness and reliability while maintaining client confidentiality
- Know how to research tax issues independently and when to seek advice of others in the office
- Be open-minded and accepting of all individuals
- Be able to work with a computer at a desk while sitting for long hours.
Required Experience:
- Individual Tax Preparation: 2-5 years
- 2 years of post-secondary education
Preferred Experience:
- CPA License or Enrolled Agent Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Pre-Law, or other professional field
- Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks, and TaxDome

Schedule:
- Monday through Saturday during tax season, average 60-80 hours/week
- Monday through Thursday 9 am – 4 pm during summer
- Monday through Friday 9 am – 4 pm outside of tax season and summer
