The LAH license is a professional certification enabling individuals to sell and provide guidance on life and health insurance policies in the United States, and guarantees that they possess the requisite knowledge and skills to work effectively in the insurance sector. Great job Laura!

This past weekend, our team had an absolute blast at the Minnesota Roller Derby All Stars event! It was fantastic to step out of the office and spend some quality time together.

From the thrilling roller derby action to the camaraderie and laughter, it was an evening to remember. Huge thanks to everyone who joined in and made it such a memorable outing!

This week our team dedicated some time to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children. We joined forces with several others to pack 63 boxes of food, providing a remarkable 13,608 meals that will nourish 37 children for a whole year. It was fantastic to contribute to such a meaningful cause and we are incredibly grateful for the chance to give back to those in need!

The final incredible woman that we are excited to highlight in honor of Women’s History Month is Jenny Yehlen. Jenny received a BA in Communications from Penn State University and her MBA and MSBM in Sports Management from the University of Central Florida. Jenny has spent the past 18 years working at the University of Minnesota where she has held several different roles in their athletic department and currently serves as their Assistant Athletic Director.

When asked why she feels Women’s History Month is important to celebrate, Jenny said; “Being a girl-mom, I want my daughter to know about the women who have come before us, but I also don't want her to ever question her capability or credibility when it comes to what she can achieve.”

We are thrilled to next highlight Tina Oertli in honor of Women’s History Month. Tina received her BS in Health and Wellness from the University of Minnesota and has spent the past 18 years working in the non-profit sector for organizations such as Fraser, SIRVA, and Make-A-Wish. She currently serves as the Executive Director for MNFEI (Minnesota Financial Empowerment Initiative) which is an organization committed to providing financial literacy education to Minnesota communities using high quality learner-focused curriculum.

When Tina was asked why we need more women in leadership, she said; “Women remain underrepresented in the workforce, and we need their unique skills and perspectives. They play a key role in breaking down gender stereotypes and making a positive impact on society. We need more women in leadership roles to inspire younger generations.”
