Whew, April 15th is finally over! I made it through another Tax Season. In my 22 years in business, I think this one was the hardest. I did over 1200 tax returns and filed more than 100 extensions. Isabella Stephens had my third grandbaby. Kristina Crozier got a crash course in 1099s and W-2s. Barbara Gilmore and Kristina learned how to split up tax returns to keep things moving. I taught Lee Stephens how to do simple tax returns. And I even pulled Ethel Gilmore Byrd out of retirement for the last 3 days to help me finish up. I'm really hoping to have Isabella back next year and another tax preparer. I'm so proud of how much my office has grown and how professional and customer-satisfying we are.
