Aircraft Acquisitions Inc., a well established and respected Business and Private Aviation Consulting firm based in Durham, NC, is seeking a part time (potential full-time) Assistant to the CEO. The candidate will act as a key support person for the office by carrying out administrative tasks such as managing incoming/outgoing mail, phones, office calendars, expense reports, and travel arrangements. In addition to the administrative duties, the individual will be using QuickBooks software to weekly log and balance accounts, invoice clients, and perform basic accounting and expense reconciliation using a company generated coding system. A familiarity with the various Social Media platforms and their application for business promotion and increased visibility is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are a requirement of this position. The successful candidate will demonstrate an outgoing, confident personality and be comfortable conversing with and making others feel at ease. The most desirable candidate will be both creative as well as analytical in the daily challenges of their tasks. Due to the changing nature of the consulting business, it is necessary to be focused, organized and efficient yet flexible in the daily routine. Lastly, the successful candidate will be able to freely and confidently interact with a wide range of personalities in order to ensure that customers receive a caring and thoroughly professional first impression of our business.
