Position Summary:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong organizational skills, and can handle a variety of accounting, tax, and administrative tasks. The position involves maintaining financial records, preparing tax returns, assisting clients, and supporting daily office operations.
Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain, categorize, record transactions, reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements through Quickbooks Online or Excel.
Tax Preparation:
Prepare individual income tax returns (federal and state).
Review client documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Stay up to date on tax laws and regulations.
Administrative Support:
Answer phones and respond to client inquiries.
Schedule appointments and manage calendars.
File, scan, and organize client documents.
Assist with billing, invoicing, and client onboarding.
Compensation based on experience.
