PDS Planning, Inc.

PDS Planning, Inc. We strive to become the financial planners and investment managers of choice in central Ohio by helping clients simplify their wealth planning.

On the one hand, there are the banks: conservative, impersonal, and far from forward thinking. Banks are unspectacular in every way, including the returns you can expect from your investments. No one is happy with the service they get from their bank. And after the financial debacle of the last few years, banks have lost credibility, respect and the public’s trust. On the other hand, there are the

brokerage houses: more worldly. More sophisticated. Pricier, perhaps. Positioned for the wealthier among us. They deal with complicated financial instruments. They have greater expertise in “risk taking.” And after the financial debacle of the last few years, they too have lost credibility, respect and the public’s trust. Stuck in the middle is the “earnest investor”: The person who recognizes the value of having a plan, and who yearns for more than a bank -- but is too nervous, or unknowledgeable, or untrusting, or unsophisticated to feel comfortable at a big brokerage house. Those are the people -- and this is the market -- that PDS Planning strives to help.

Not every advisor relationship needs to end because something is wrong.

Sometimes your life simply becomes more complex. A growing portfolio, new tax considerations, retirement planning, equity compensation, business ownership, or estate planning can create needs that didn't exist a decade ago.

The question isn't whether your advisor is doing a good job.

The question is whether the advice you're receiving still fits where you are today.

Learn what to evaluate when determining if your current advisory relationship is still the right fit.
