The Haines City Fire Department is pleased to announce and welcome Deputy Chief and Fire Marshal Patrick Competelli.

Chief Competelli brings a wealth of experience and leadership to our organization, having embarked on his career in the late 1980s as a paramedic in Pinellas County. Over the years, he has ascended through various leadership roles, including Division Chief at the City of Dunedin Fire Rescue, Assistant Fire Marshal for the City of Clearwater, and Fire Chief of Belleair Bluffs.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Eckerd College and a Master's Degree from Kansas State University. Furthermore, Chief Competelli is an accomplished fire instructor at the Florida State Fire College, where he specializes in Fire Officer and Fire Inspector courses. His extensive knowledge and experience will undoubtedly serve as a significant asset to our department and the community we serve.
