A special thank you to David Tate our Corporate Vice President from the African American Market Unit for joining us, supporting our event, and leading an informative presentation focused on preparing for the future with intention.

I’m especially grateful to our guests who took time out of their busy schedules to invest in themselves and their futures. Retirement planning can be easy to put off, but taking the time to understand your options and create a plan is an important step toward the retirement you envision.

I had the pleasure to attend the AAMU Empowerment Summit and the 20th Annual Conference of African American Financial Professionals Conference (CAAFP) which happened to be held in my hometown at the Sheraton Grand Riverwalk Chicago August 2nd-5th. I was able to connect and network with my peers while learning from some of the top financial professionals in the US. New York Life always represents as you can see from the first photo we took as a group after the AAMU Empowerment Summit.

I had an amazing time with my New York family and meeting and celebrating with financial professionals from every agency all over the US.
