Change is in the air at 3026 County Road S in Sturgeon Bay. We are incredibly excited to announce that, as of this afternoon, we are the new owners of the floral half of Maas Floral & Greenhouses. Todd and Chris are still running the treasured greenhouses (now Maas Greenhouses), so don't worry about where to buy your plants this spring!

To the Maas family: Thank you for trusting us with the business you have grown over the past 26 years. We promise to continue care for the community with the same passion you always have.

Okay wait… this was actually so fun 😂

I used ChatGPT to create a little “infographic version” of myself it somehow nailed my vibe - organized, systems-loving, slightly type A… and yes, rock music 😅

Also the cat?? 10/10.

Stop managing your business by your bank balance. 🛑

If there is a difference between your "Bank Balance" and your "In QuickBooks" balance, you’re looking at a Reconciliation Gap. This usually happens because of uncleared checks, pending deposits, or—most commonly—duplicate entries in your bank feed.

The danger? You might see a "Paper Profit" that doesn't actually exist in the bank.

Weekly Tip: Always check your Reconciliation Report. If your "Uncleared" transactions are more than 30 days old, your financial reports are giving you bad data.
