🚨 REFUND SEASON UPDATE 🚨💰📣

Next week is when things really start shifting, so let’s get ahead of the confusion before the internet goes crazy 👀👇🏽

🔓 PATH HOLD IS CLEARING
If you claimed:
👶🏽 Dependents
💵 Earned Income Credit (EIC)
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC)

Your refund was on a mandatory IRS hold — not a delay, not a mistake. That hold is lifting now, just like it does every year. Once PATH opens, refunds roll out in phases, not all at once 🌊

📊 WHAT YOU’LL START NOTICING
✅ Transcripts updating
✅ Status moving to “Approved”
✅ Deposit dates appearing
✅ Banks showing pending funds

This is the normal IRS flow — not errors, not issues, not problems.

🏦 ABOUT “EARLY” REFUNDS ⏩💸
Some banks let tax pros see scheduled deposits days ahead of time. That means we can see your refund is coming before it actually hits your account.

It does not mean the IRS paid early.
It means the bank already received the deposit info.

So if someone else gets paid before you — nothing is wrong 🙅🏽‍♀️

🛑 QUICK FACTS
• Refunds drop in batches
• WMR updates once daily 🔄
• Every bank posts differently 🏦
• “Approved” doesn’t mean instant money ⏳

📌 Bottom line: If you filed correctly and claimed PATH credits, your refund is already in motion.

Save it 📌
Share it 🗣️
Because next week… the refund energy is about to go CRAZY 💸🔥

Please understand that tax returns are not being sent to the IRS tomorrow. The IRS has not announced an official opening date yet.
What is happening tomorrow is that tax companies are opening to start cash advances. To receive a cash advance, your return must be ready to file, because once it’s submitted for an advance, the return is locked and will be transmitted as soon as the IRS opens.

Back in the day, people would rush to submit information to try to beat the other parent to claiming a dependent. That no longer works. The IRS now allows both returns to be submitted, and the person who actually qualifies to claim the dependent will receive their money faster. The other person will likely end up audited and required to pay the money back, and that process is happening quicker than ever.

My advice is to wait until you have all of your documents. There has already been talk in the tax streets that the IRS will be flagging more returns for mismatched or missing documents.

Please remember, a lot of tax pros will say anything just to get you to try them.
Choose wisely. Stressfree tax service can help

Just FYI 🥂🗣️ Let’s clear this up BEFORE tax season gets chaotic…

Applying for a tax advance = Filing your tax return.
There is NO way around it. You cannot apply for an advance without filing. The moment your tax pro submits that advance request, your return is transmitted to the IRS and goes into queue waiting to be accepted.

Here’s what that means:

📌 If your loan is approved you filed.
📌 If your loan is denied you still filed.
There’s no “take it back.” The return is already in the system.

📌 Going to another preparer to try again is pointless.
We ALL use the same refund advance banks. Once your return hits the IRS queue, that’s it. A new preparer cannot “re-file” you for another loan.

📌 Your tax preparer does NOT decide your loan approval.
The banks look at:
• previous loan history
• whether prior-year loans were paid back
• IRS issues tied to your account
• your expected refund amount
• internal bank risk scores

Switching tax pros won’t override any of that.

📌 If last year you got a loan and your refund never funded, the bank will NOT approve you this year no matter who you file with.

So please understand: hopping from preparer to preparer does not increase your chances. It only creates confusion and delays your real refund.
