Appointments will be starting in a couple days and parking has been brought up. I ask that you not use Niedecken's parking lot, with the street construction done, they have lost a couple parking spots. But since the construction IS done (YAY!!!), there is parking across the street OR if you are just dropping off/ picking up, you can temporarily park in the alley. The alley is quite busy so I ask these stops be quick. Also you can park behind my house depending upon the weather. If you have any questions, text me at 567-328-6226. Calls are hard to take, most time I'm with clients or on another call. I am working again without a secretary so please be patient! I appreciate all your years of business!!! Honestly, its because I have the best clients in the world that I could have done this for 36 years! Dang, you guys are getting old!!! haha Anyways, I will see you all soon and have a safe winter!

Hey everyone back in the office and ready for this crazy tax season to start! Thank you for your patience, I’ve had a lot of medical issues this year but ready to go and get you some money back! My new cell number is 567–3 28–6226, you can text me or call for I am now taking appointments! On a sidenote, before you come in please determine what your stimulus payment was for last year. You can call your bank or you may have received a form from the IRS. But we will need that number to file! Thanks and I hope this turns out to be a great year for all of us!

February 1st the office will be open! I have a few things to take care of yet but I have appointments in place starting that day. I will be preparing and can even give you your copies but we will not be able to submit until Feb 12th. This is what IRS has sent to me.

WASHINGTON ― The Internal Revenue Service announced that the nation's tax season will start on Friday, February 12, 2021, when the tax agency will begin accepting and processing 2020 tax year returns.

The February 12 start date for individual tax return filers allows the IRS time to do additional programming and testing of IRS systems following the December 27 tax law changes that provided a second round of Economic Impact Payments and other benefits.

This programming work is critical to ensuring IRS systems run smoothly. If filing season were opened without the correct programming in place, then there could be a delay in issuing refunds to taxpayers. These changes ensure that eligible people will receive any remaining stimulus money as a Recovery Rebate Credit when they file their 2020 tax return.

Also, my phone is going crazy, I am trying to keep up but tax classes put me a lil behind. Please be patient and I look forward to seeing you all (from 6ft!!) and getting you the quickest and largest refund I can. Be sure to bring your stimulus information with you so I can ensure you get every last dollar coming to you!!

Hello 2021!!!! I’m sure we’re all glad to see 2020 in the rearview mirror and ready to make this a better year! I just received my appointment book today so I will start making appointments, anybody who has already contacted me I will get a hold of you today and get you booked. There will be a few small changes in how we are doing things this year and I will either discuss when we book your appt or look for my post card in the mail. They haven’t set an official date for opening e-file, however it could happen January 15 at the earliest and they can delay it until February 1 if they want. I will be in the office starting on January 13 and getting everything set up. I appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing all of you this year!!!

Finally fever free and getting back on track. If you missed an appointment this week, please drop off your information and I will coordinate a time to call for your 'appointment'. I have attached a checklist to use. Also for upcoming appointments, drop off your information a day prior to your scheduled time. Someone will retrieve all drop offs and files every evening so I can still have our meeting at the designated time. If this doesn't work for you and would rather meet face to face, then we can reschedule once the pandemic allows. Please stay healthy and remember to be a good human to those in need. Michelle here, The office will be closed for another day or so. Kenzie and I are both sick, hers is not flu related so far and I am waiting on word from my doctor. My fever is not high enough to be corona-virus but I have been told to self isolate until I am fever free or they get tests back. I am currently working on a plan to still honor appointments and get everyone filed. We just might have to have our meeting over the phone or face time.

The IRS has stated that tax season will be extended but still urge everyone to file to receive refunds to help during this latest challenge to our country. Also IRS will extend the due date and the deadline will be extended 90 days for people that owe money. There will be no penalty or interest. This could also be extended during this questionable time.

Please take care of yourselves and don't forget about our elderly or indigent. Basically just be a good human being!

The office will be open on January 21st, I am trying to catch up on all the messages, calls and texts. I sincerely apologize for my absence but I needed to focus on my health. I've had a lot going on this year and I am on the mend but it will take a little while so I ask for your patience and understanding.
