Make a simple location map.

1. Rest your arms where they feel supported.
2. Look at one hand or forearm.
3. Name its side and a nearby landmark.
4. Describe one sensation, or say nothing stands out.

“My right forearm is resting on the desk. I feel more contact near the elbow. It feels comfortable.”

You’re practicing location words, not searching for a problem. Try it before your first desk task. Avoid pressing on a tender area. Looking is enough.

“My arm feels uncomfortable.”

Which part? “My arm” covers a lot of ground: the shoulder, upper arm, forearm, and hand.

Try a question. Where on your arm? “My shoulder.” That’s already much more helpful.
Two everyday location words:
• Upper arm: shoulder to elbow
• Forearm: elbow to wrist

And you can always add left or right, front or back, above or below. You don’t need to name a muscle to explain where you feel something. A clear everyday description is plenty.

A fictional example: “I feel an ache on the back of my right forearm, just below my elbow.” That’s a side, a body region, and a nearby landmark.

Your turn: “On the ____ side, I feel ____ near ____.”

Try adding one location detail to a sentence you often use.

Earlier, we explored words for pain. Today, let’s practice on something that feels fine.

That’s right. You don’t have to wait for pain to practice the language. Knowing what feels right makes it easier to explain when something feels wrong.

Try this:
1. Sit in a comfortable position.
2. Choose a sensation you already notice, such as the contact of the chair.
3. Name where it is and choose one describing word.
4. Say or write one sentence in your journal, and add when you noticed it.

A fictional example:
“I feel steady pressure under my thighs while I sit on this chair. It is comfortable.”

Try it after you finish brushing your teeth. A familiar habit gives a new one a place in your day. Keep it brief, then return to what you were doing.

One note: please don’t repeat a painful movement to test it. Seek medical advice for new, persistent, or worsening pain.

“It hurts.”

Two words, and we know something’s up. But they don’t tell the person listening much more than that.
Let’s try a few questions.
Where do you feel it?
“My knee.”
Where around the knee?
“The front of my knee.”
Already, that’s a lot clearer.

Now try a word that says how it feels:
• Sharp: pointed or piercing
• Throbbing: pulsing or beating

Pain words describe how something feels. They don’t identify the cause, so you can use them without playing detective.

A fictional example:
“I feel a sharp pain at the front of my right knee when I go upstairs.” That’s a body location, a describing word, and when it happens.

Can’t find the exact word? Use your own comparison. “It feels like a tight band” can be useful language too.

Your turn: “I feel ____ in my ____ when ____.”

Save these words for your next conversation with a healthcare professional.

Earlier, we gave “I’m tense” some better words.
Now let’s give your jaw a little attention. No fixing required.

Here’s a brief practice:
1. Sit comfortably and breathe naturally.
2. While you’re not talking or chewing, notice whether your teeth are apart, touching, or pressed together.
3. If they’re pressed together, gently allow a little space, only if that’s comfortable. Please don’t force or stretch your jaw.
4. After a few natural breaths, describe what stayed the same and what changed.

It might sound like this: “My teeth were pressed together. Now they are slightly apart, but the tightness is still there.”

That’s a perfectly good result. Relief isn’t required for a useful observation. What you’re practicing is the sequence: observe, choose, describe.
Try it again when you sit down to begin work.

Please stop if the adjustment hurts. Persistent jaw pain, locking, or tooth concerns deserve assessment by a dentist or healthcare professional.

“I’m tense.”

We all say it, and it’s a perfectly good place to start. It’s also a bit like knocking on a door: the person listening knows you’re there, but not where to look.

So let’s add a few gentle questions.

Where in your body do you feel it? “In my jaw.” Has anything changed for you recently? “I don’t know, I’ve been stressed lately.” Now there’s something to work with.

A few other words to try instead of “tense”:
• Clench: holding your teeth firmly together
• Tight: held or restricted
• Pressure: pressing or squeezing

Here’s the part I love: a physical sensation and an emotion can be described separately. Your jaw can ache and you can feel stressed, and you don’t have to decide that one caused the other.

A fictional example:
“I feel a dull ache on the right side of my jaw. I first observed it this morning, and I’m not sure what brought it on.”

That’s location, sensation, a little context, and honest uncertainty.

Your turn: “In my body, I observe ____. Emotionally, I feel ____.”

Save this sentence starter for your next body check-in.

What Does Azure Health & Wealth Investments Actually Represent?

Azure Health & Wealth Investments is more than a name.

It represents a vision of helping people become more connected to their health, their purpose, their personal growth, and their future.

At the heart of Azure are several areas of service and education:

🌿 Azure Touch — hands-on bodywork and the connection between body and mind.

🌱 C.A.L.M. Academy — education designed to help people develop greater awareness and practical tools for transformation.

✨ Coaching & Mentorship — creating space for people to grow, reflect, and move forward with intention.

🎤 Speaking & Education — sharing experiences, knowledge, and practical wisdom that can impact lives beyond a one-on-one session.

📖 Authorship — using the power of writing and storytelling to teach, encourage, and inspire.

These may look like different areas, but they all point toward the same purpose:

Helping people reconnect with themselves so they can live, grow, and build from a healthier foundation.

That is what Azure represents to me.

Not simply treating one part of a person—but creating opportunities to look at the whole picture.

When you hear “Azure Health & Wealth,” what does it mean to you?

Why Your Healing Journey Can Influence the Way You Serve Others

Sometimes, the things we have personally walked through become the very things that teach us how to care for others.

When you have experienced pain, uncertainty, burnout, loss, or the process of rebuilding yourself, you begin to understand people differently.

You listen differently.
You notice things differently.
You become more patient with someone who is still trying to find their way.

That doesn't mean we have to be completely healed before we can serve.

It means our experiences can deepen our compassion, awareness, and understanding.

For me, healing has taught me that people don't always need someone to “fix” them.

Sometimes, they need someone who can sit with them, listen without judgment, and create a safe space for them to reconnect with themselves.

Our experiences can become wisdom when we take the time to learn from them.

What has your own journey taught you about how you show up for others?

You don’t need more information. You need alignment.

Sometimes, we keep searching.

Another book.
Another podcast.
Another piece of advice.
Another answer.

But deep down, we already know what needs our attention.

The challenge isn’t always a lack of knowledge. Sometimes, it’s that our thoughts, emotions, values, and actions are pulling in different directions.

Alignment gives you space to pause and ask:

What truly matters to me right now?
What is my body telling me?
What needs to change not around me, but within me?

You don’t always need more information.

Sometimes, you need to become clear enough to act on what you already know.

Pause. Listen. Align. Move.

What area of your life is asking for alignment right now?

Why Transformation Starts Internally

Real transformation doesn't begin with changing everything around you.

It begins within.

The C.A.L.M. system recognises that lasting change starts with becoming aware of what's happening inside you:

C — Clear
Create space from the mental and emotional noise.

A — Assess & Align
Notice where you are and reconnect with what truly matters.

L — Learn & Leverage
Use what you discover to make healthier, more intentional choices.

M — Move
Turn awareness into action, one step at a time.

Because transformation isn't simply about changing what you do.

It's about understanding why you do it—and becoming more aligned with who you want to be.

💚 Reflection:
What is one thing within yourself you're ready to understand more deeply?

Follow Azure Health & Wealth Investments for more healing insights and practical ways to reconnect with your mind, body, and spirit through the C.A.L.M. system.
