📢 COVID Penalty Relief – New Deadline Could Mean Refunds for You

The Kwong case may have reopened the door for refunds and penalty relief tied to IRS deadlines during the pandemic. The court says tax deadlines were automatically suspended from Jan 20, 2020 through July 10, 2023 – plus 60 days.

🔑 Key Date: Many claims now must be filed by July 10, 2026.

⚠️ The IRS may appeal, but filing now protects your rights.

What to do today: ✅ Download your IRS transcripts & correspondence (2019–2023) ✅ If you need help, we can prepare a Power of Attorney for $695 ✅ Contact us for a free review of your refund potential

Happy Tax Day!!!

If you are a regular client and haven't filed your Federal Form 1040 for 2025 we have already filed a Form 4868 (Application for Automatic Extension of Time) on your behalf so there is nothing to worry about.
