Now is a good time to apply Structured Strategy. UBS recent article highlighted how Structured Strategy can help fight both inflation and market volatility.

Structured Strategy simply means complete or partial bottom protection (such as 90% protection or 10% buffer) to the investment principal; at the same time with a return that has a cap or no cap at all pegged with the market upside. The strategy can be applied to various financial vehicles based on different time horizons, such as short-term (15 months), mid/long-term (more than 10 years). Of course, this needs to be discussed with a licensed financial professional and understand how this can protect against market risk exposure. Sometimes, Google just cannot replace an industry professional. 🙂

Right now, with both high inflation and market volatility, this could improve the overall portfolio performance and give us peace of mind. In my family, more than 50% of our assets are in structured strategies. Feel free to contact me for more information.

Market volatility has nearly doubled in 2022 and many retirement plans (i.e., 401-Ks, 403-Bs, IRAs and ROTH-IRAs) have felt the impact.

Is 2022 going to be another 2008? The market hasn’t been friendly to many investors this year.
