The 2024 Presidential election is closer than it appears: it starts on October 21, 2024!

Early voting for the general elections on November 5, 2024, starts on October 21, 2024. The voting hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, beginning October 21 and ending November 4. On the final day of early voting, November 4, the polls will close at 5 p.m.

I have mentioned Dad coloring Mother's grave with everything red. We had a dog called Bullett and it was bothering him the day he was coloring cement red, for Mother's grave, so he colored our dog named Bullet (Bullett was never right after John Pharis hit him in the head while we were playing baseball.) Daddy drove by Pharis' house and there was a red dog tied up and Phird had been feeding him for serval days. Phird bragged about the newfound red dog he was planning to take him hunting. Dad checked on the red dog for several days. It had rained, so Dad stopped to check on the red dog and Phird was terribly upset because the red dog was no longer red, the rain washed the red out. He had been feeding Bullet the whole time and didn't know it, but he found out when the red cement dye washed off, and then he knew Floyd had known it was Bullett but didn't tell.

This is what my Mother's grave, in Birta, looked like when Dad was alive. He was working on her grave continually. The red gravel is the material on the roofing, he knew someone in Benton, and we made several trips. He had made cement posts and colored them red, he colored everything red, and he planted several unusual roses because Mother's favorite color was red. Dad mourned Mother until the day he died.

I've started digitizing some of my old slides. I can't get much done for stopping and looking at old photos. I may have waited too long to convert them; they are in bad shape. If you have old print photos, slides, or videos, convert them before losing quality. You can see what happens to them by checking out mine.
