If you listened to our latest feature on the podcast Uncorked with Funny Wine Girl Jeannine then you know one of our BTL kids has been saving for a Nintendo Switch 2 for the past five months. He got a generous offer from one of his awesome uncles to match the amount he saved and yesterday was the big day! He went with his Uncle to make the purchase he spent months doing chores to earn. We are so proud of his commitment to savings! When asked what his next saving goal was, he said ‘Nintendo switch games and accessories, of course!’ Way to budget through life, kiddo!

If your kids are headed for the book fair in the next few weeks, try to encourage them to budget for at least one book before spending money on the invisible ink pens (advice coming from a mom who’s son wrote on the wall with one of them 😂).
