Standard deduction
The standard deduction amount increases slightly every year and varies by filing status. The standard deduction amount depends on the taxpayer's filing status, whether they are 65 or older or blind, and whether another taxpayer can claim them as a dependent.

Taxpayers who are age 65 or older on the last day of the year and don't itemize deductions are entitled to a higher standard deduction.

Ok Parents!! I did some research on this 2441 Form “Child and Dependent Care Expenses”‼️‼️

•When filling for your taxes you can apply for this credit or exclusion that will get you $8,000 for 1 Qualifying Dependent and $16,000 for two Qualifying dependents‼️‼️

-It must also be employment related… Meaning if you worked or looked for work during the year‼️‼️
Your work can be for others or in your own business, it can be either in or out your home as well!!

•Chidlren under 13 qualifies for this credit ❤️❤️

I pretty much outlined all the facts of what I read! This money is ours , be sure y’all get this form off the irs website and send it in with your tax form!

If the state pay for your child care expenses you are not eligible ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

🚨 2022 FILING SEASON CTC UPDATES 🚨

💥CTC is up to 3,000 per child 6 years or younger and 3,600 per child 7 years -17 years old.

💥In January 2022, the IRS will send Letter 6419 with the total amount of advance Child Tax Credit payments taxpayers received in 2021. People should keep this and any other IRS letters about advance Child Tax Credit payments with their tax records.

💥It is recommended that you DO NOT I repeat DO NOT apply for an advance loan before receiving Letter 6419 from the IRS. Filing without this form may cause DELAYS in your tax return‼️‼️

🔥For my families with three or more children.. There is no max on CTC meaning you do not max out on the third child. You can carry all of your children and get the FULL CTC for each child.

💡 Be mindful some of you will not receive the full Child Tax Credit due to the amount of money you’ve made (Earned Income Credit). The more income acquired the less child tax credit you’ll receive.

Here’s a few updates for this upcoming tax season‼️

EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT CHANGES FOR 2021

📢The maximum credit has been increased to $1,502 for childless taxpayers!

📢The minimum age has been decreased to 19 (if not in school , otherwise it’s 24)

📢There is no longer a maximum age.

📢 If 2021 income is less than 2019, you can use 2019 income to generate the EITC ; however it must be at least $1 (fully unemployed clients or clients with no income no longer qualify)
