The Southwest Youth of the Year Celebration was one of those evenings that sticks with you.
Hearing from the Youth of the Year candidates was a powerful reminder that leadership does not have an age requirement. These students spoke with confidence, purpose, and a level of perspective that was genuinely inspiring.
Amber Seale, CFP®, CPA, CLU®, CDFA® and I left encouraged by their stories, impressed by their resilience, and grateful for organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America that create spaces where young people can be seen, supported, and challenged to grow.
It is easy to worry about the future and nights like this make you feel a lot better about it.
