New Updates for Tax Year 2023:
Increase in Earned Income Credit Maximum credit amounts and Maximum AGI
What does this mean?
For those have have earned income either from a qualifying job or self employment can qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit. You can use the credit to reduce the taxes you owe and maybe increase your refund.
You must meet certain adjusted gross income (AGI) and credit limits for the current, previous and upcoming tax years.
Below is the Earned Income Tax Credit table that includes the specific filing status, maximum AGI and number of children/relatives you may claim; underneath the table is the maximum credit amounts that you can qualify for based upon this table.
