Public Service Announcement: Although the IRS announced last week that they will start accepting returns on 2/12/2021, you can still prepare your returns using your preferred software, or your favorite preparer 😉, as soon as you have received all of your tax documents. You do not need to wait until the 12th to start. If you have everything together and are normally ready to prepare your taxes at the end of January or early February I recommend you still do so.

Tax season is underway!

With 2018 came the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, aka The Trump Tax Cuts. The changes will affect everyone whether you're single, married, a parent, self-employed, or a small business owner. These changes can be complicated and sometimes overwhelming (when has the government ever actually "simplified" anything?).

My goal at Holden Ledet CPA LLC is to be a CPA for everyday people and small business owners. If your life has been moving too fast, like it has for me, but your job isn't to stay up-to-date and read the changes in the tax code, like it is for me, please do not hesitate to give me a call or make an appointment to discuss your tax situation (no cost or obligation) or to have your taxes prepared.

My tax preparation rates are fair and reasonable and I will do whatever I can to make sure that your taxes are prepared accurately and professionally.

Hey everyone I have a few things that I wanted to share with my followers (that was weird for me to type):

1. I just wanted to say thank you so much for liking my page. We are now over 100 likes! I really do appreciate each of you taking the time to do so, it really means a lot.
