I am saddened by the mean and hateful views many Americans express about immigrants. Not long ago, millions of immigrants were welcomed to cross our borders to work on farms, in restaurants, and in our homes, filling low-paying jobs Americans wouldn't fill. Why is it acceptable to exploit people when needed, then demonize them when no longer needed? The most painful aspect is that cruel insults come from self-proclaimed God-fearing Americans. Have we forgotten that, except for Native Americans, we are all immigrants to this country?

We are taking a break from our Sunday zoom meeting for TOTTY, which stands for (The Old Teaching The Young). Instead, we will be corresponding through Facebook, and posting our questions and comments.

Keeping our focus on  the topic of Women of Virtue, we continue to direct our study and interaction with women who strive to live a life that GOD can use to encourage the old and the young.

At our last TOTTY Session, we discussed the subject of studying to learn more scripture than we were able to live. We had some very interesting comments and I would like us to continue our discussion to bring out more facts and comments on this topic and our personal convictions. Please let us exam our views and compare them to scripture so we can get a better understanding.
