A major overhaul of the U.S. tax code that brought us:

💡 The "No Tax on Overtime" Tax Rule

🆗There’s a lot of confusion about the “No Tax on Overtime” law, so here’s the simple truth:

✅Overtime is still taxed.

💢What did change is that some workers may get a new deduction for the extra portion of their OT pay — the amount above their regular hourly rate.

💯 It’s helpful, but it’s not automatic, and it doesn’t apply to everyone. Employers won’t break it out on your W‑2, so you’ll need to calculate it when you file.
