Crane America-The tax office is not doing any Registrations or title work today. Our computers are down.

Crane County tax office will be closed Monday, Jan. 26 because of the weather.

We just wanted to remind you that your property taxes are due by January 31st. Please be aware that the Post Office may not stamp your mail with the 31st date when you mail it on the 31st. They have changed their policies. We will have to go by the date that the post office puts on the envelope. Please mail your payment early. Any mail stamped after the 31st will incur penalty and interest.

The Tax Office will close at 11:45AM on Dec. 23. We will reopen on Dec. 29 at 8 am.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the state of Texas is requiring the DMV offices to see a valid driver’s license or government issued ID before you can register or renew your vehicle registration.

TAX SALE
Just wanted to let everyone know that the tax sale which was scheduled for Tuesday, March 4, will have to be postponed. I don’t have details for the new date at this time.
