FYI!!!
The CDOR announced a controlled launch for the 2024 Filing Season, with Individual Income Tax return filing beginning the week of February 14, followed by C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, and Fiduciary returns the week of February 21.
The IRS has been allowing taxpayers to file their federal taxes since January 27. But Colorado state taxes filings have been delayed.
According to a notification from the COCPA, the Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR) plans to open the 2024 Filing Season in a controlled launch for:
Individual Income Tax returns during the week of February 14.
C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, and Fiduciary returns during the week of February 21.
During this period, there will be a delay in acknowledgments as CDOR works to retrieve and process a limited number of tax returns before the official e-file opening. CDOR is committed to ensuring their system processes returns accurately and efficiently.
