Payroll clients, please have your payroll hours to us by noon on Wednesday so we have sufficient time to prepare payroll for your employees.

Trump Accounts Announcement:

The proposed regulations issued today provide rules on how the Secretary of the Treasury will make one-time $1,000 pilot program contributions to the Trump Accounts of eligible children for whom elections have been made.

New deduction for those over 65-

Effective for 2025 through 2028, individuals who are 65 and older may claim an additional deduction of $6,000. This new deduction is in addition to the current additional standard deduction for seniors under existing law.

IRS has announced new mileage rates for 2026

Standard mileage rates will now be:
72.5 cents per mile driven for business use (up 2.5 cents)
20.5 cents per mile driven for medical purposes (down .5 cents)
