This Memorial Day, I’m reminded that sacrifice isn’t just a military word — it’s a biblical one.

Jesus said it Himself:

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

Our fallen soldiers embodied that kind of love. They left families, comfort, and safety — not for glory, but for the people standing behind them.

That’s not just heroism. That’s love in action.

Today we pause, we remember, and we honor every man and woman who gave everything so we could have everything we do.
