Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Tax Accountant at Tyman & Hirsch, CPA's. The Staff Tax Accountant will be responsible for client accounting, tax preparation (Income, Payroll & Sales Tax) and other various accounting tasks. As a member of our team, you will work closely with clients to ensure accurate and timely tax filings, assist with financial reporting, and provide valuable insights to support their financial goals.
Qualifications
Tax compliance and tax preparation skills (Income, Payroll & Sales Tax)
Experience with accounting and bookkeeping
Knowledge of tax laws and regulations helpful
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Must have knowledge of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Certifications such as CPA or Enrolled Agent are a plus but not required.
Salary will depend on experience
