Tax update ✨⭐️💫🌟

Right now, the people getting refund dates are the ones who don’t have the PATH Act on their taxes.
The PATH Act mainly affects people in a lower tax bracket who get credits like the child tax credit or earned income credit. The IRS holds those refunds a little longer every year to double-check everything.

People in a higher tax bracket usually don’t get those credits, so their refunds move faster and they see dates sooner.
So if you don’t have a date yet, it doesn’t mean anything is wrong — it just means the IRS hasn’t released that group yet.
Everyone gets paid… just not at the same time 🙂

🚨 TAX REMINDER – READ THIS IF YOU CLAIMED EXEMPT LAST YEAR! 🚨

Hard to believe, but July 1st is already here 😳 If you said last year that you were going to fix your tax withholding and forgot… this is your sign.

If you’re still marked as EXEMPT on your taxes, that means NO federal or state taxes are being taken out of your checks — which might feel nice now, BUT it can come back to bite you. You might not get a refund next year… and you could actually end up owing money to the IRS or the state. 💸

Double-check your W-4 or your paystub ASAP. It's better to fix it now than be hit with a big tax bill in April. Spread the word if you know someone this might apply to!
