⛳ FIP had a great day this past Friday at our Chipping & Putting Clinic!

We had so much fun learning tips and tricks from Green Valley’s golf pros to improve our short game, followed by some friendly competition to put our new skills to the test. Congratulations to our winners! 🏆

Happy 529 Day! 529 plans are a popular place to build college savings that will grow tax-deferred, and withdrawals are tax-free as long as the funds are used for qualified educational expenses. With some plans, you may also qualify for a state tax deduction.

However, only contribute to a 529 plan if you’re also simultaneously saving for retirement. After all, you can borrow for school but not for retirement.

One great way to fund 529 plans is to ask relatives to contribute. For affluent grandparents, it can be a good way to draw down their estate using the gift tax exemption. 🎓 🏦

This past Friday, FIP had the pleasure of hosting our Spring Gardening Seminar at the beautiful Ambler Arboretum of Temple University! 🌿🌸

We spent the afternoon learning all about the “fungus among us” with Arboretum Director, Kathy Salisbury, whose insight and passion made for an engaging and educational experience. Guests also enjoyed a beautiful guided tour of the arboretum grounds as spring blooms came to life.
