Just FYI 🚨

If you did not work for 2024 or barley worked and have dependents does not mean you’re automatically owed a refund.

No income = no return 🥱

So if you KNOW this is you and your preparer still gets you back the max do not complain about the fee they’re charging you because YOU COULDVE GOT NOTHING ‼️‼️

Example : W2 employee age 23 w/ 2 dependents wages $2870 with $113 federal withholding ( of course ) gives you a return amount of about $1316 WITH THE DEPENDENTS !!! But some how your preparer helps you get back $5802 and they charge you $700-$800 for fees that’s REASONABLE cause you where only supposed to get back $1316…..

JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE KIDS DOESNT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN YOU GET A REFUND ‼️

Please do not give these preparers a hard time this year! 🥂

Prime Time Tax Tip:

•Keep track of all work-related expenses! Small deductions like home office supplies or mileage for business, can add up & reduce your taxable income. Stay organized to maximize your refund!

To all current & future clients,
A few things to keep in mind this tax season:

❗️1. Tax Preparers DO NOT control the "Where’s My Refund" website. When you are checking it and it is not doing as you think it should, the people to call is THE IRS, not your tax preparer because the website is owned and operated by THE IRS.

❗️2. If YOU OWE a debt and your money is reduced, YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE LETTER TO COME IN THE MAIL that states why your refund was taken. It takes 3 weeks for the IRS to let you know where the money was offset, MEANING, when you call the IRS, you are calling the call center and they DO NOT KNOW most times why or who took the money. The IRS employs another internal agency affiliated with the IRS to take funds. Just wait the 3 weeks for the letter to come then call complaining.

❗️3. THE TAX ADVANCE WAS NOT FREE. Once your money is released, the advance, bank fees, and your tax professional fees will come out, so please do not act like you dont know.

❗️4. If YOU OWE ANY GOVERNMENTAL debts, it will come out regardless of the amount and if it was not enough to pay your tax preparer, YOU STILL OWE THE TAX PREPARER.

❗️5. It does not matter if you and your friend filed on the same day, one person’s money can come before the other. That’s just how the processing works sometimes with the IRS

❗️6. Lastly, some will get letters wanting them to prove identity and/or letters stating the return is being reviewed. This is normal and has been going on for years. The IRS randomly picks individuals. THAT DOES NOT MEAN YOUR PREPARER DID ANYTHING WRONG… follow their process & be patient.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY💗
