The Chamber ran for the roses this morning during Morning Mingle at First Financial Bank in Conroe! Our derby may not have been as big as Kentucky's, but we had just as much fun, thanks in part to great networking, a fabulous breakfast from Pizza Shack, and lots of door prizes - including a money grab of $50 for race winner Kym Harris with Rock Solid Retirement. Kym was the Spotlight Business of the Month speaking on "The Silent Crisis: Why Long-Term Care Planning Matters."

The tricky part? Most of this isn’t covered by Medicare or health insurance.

I’ve seen firsthand how a lack of planning can put a financial and emotional strain on families. But I’ve also seen the peace of mind that comes with having a solid plan in place.
