The I.R.S. opening day for accepting 2021 tax returns is January 27th 2022.
Do not be in a hurry to file!
You must have 1 or 2 letters from the I.R.S this year if you DO NOT want your refund delayed.
#1 Letter #6475 will tell you exactly what you received in recovery rebate credit (stimulus $$) for 2021.
#2 Letter #6419 will tell you exactly what you have received in advanced child tax credit in 2021.
If these figures are incorrect on your tax return, your refund could be held up for up to 12 months.
If you wish to track YOUR information or these letters personally go to IRS.gov and select "create an account" then follow the prompts and provide the correct personal information.

The extended deadline for filing your 2020 taxes is May 17th, 2021. Our preparation deadline for this guaranteed date is May 12th, 2021.
