I am Ashlee Pope, the owner of Pope Accounting Services. I started Pope Accounting Services because I am passionate about helping small business owners pursue their dreams without the headaches and confusion that accounting can bring. We provide cloud-based accounting and bookkeeping solutions for small businesses, including reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis.
I know that you did not start your business because you love bookkeeping, and I’m sure you would much rather spend your time focusing on your strengths and passions. By allowing me to handle your bookkeeping, you can do what you love while I do what I love. You will have the peace of mind of knowing where your money is going and coming from, which is an invaluable business tool.
I have wanted to be an accountant since I was 11 and have dreamed of the day where I can use my skills to serve others. I earned my degree in accounting from Lee University and have extensive professional experience in auditing, payroll, financial analysis and financial statement preparation. Throughout my career, I worked closely with federal and state regulators, lawyers, external auditors, and executive management on a regular basis. I am a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Tennessee and a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. I believe my experience has uniquely prepared me for serving you.
When I’m not busy helping ease my clients’ accounting frustrations, I enjoy reading or chilling out with Netflix. However, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband, Robert, and two adorable children, Natalee and Owen. We are active in our church and enjoy cheering on the Auburn Tigers.
