This week I saw a familiar pattern: business owners trying to prepare for Q4 with books that aren’t fully accurate.
Cleanup isn’t about fixing mistakes — it’s about restoring clarity.
If your financials feel messy or incomplete, October is the ideal time to get things organized before tax season ramps up.
I help business owners get their QuickBooks Online files clean, structured, and ready for year‑end.

October is the month where bookkeeping issues start showing themselves.
Unreconciled accounts, uncategorized transactions, and missing documentation all become harder to ignore as year‑end approaches.
If your books aren’t giving you clear numbers, a cleanup now will save you stress later.
I specialize in QuickBooks Online cleanup and onboarding for small business owners who want accuracy heading into tax season.

Loan payments are one of the most misunderstood parts of bookkeeping. This week I cleaned a file where every loan payment was coded as an expense — which made the P&L look terrible and the loan balance never moved. Here’s the truth:
• Principal reduces the loan
• Interest is the only expense If your books show loan payments as expenses, your financials are lying to you.

Business owners: if you’re using personal Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, or your personal debit card for business transactions… You’re creating a bookkeeping mess you won’t see until tax season. This week alone, I cleaned up four months of transactions where personal apps were mixed with business activity — and it cost the owner thousands in missed deductions. If you’re running a business, you need a business account. Period.
