Bookkeeping looks a little different here... 🤭📚

Our ATLAS Colorado Springs team (Emily Fagerberg, Emily Barilli, and Taylor Clark) spent time at French Elementary helping assemble math books for 1st graders as teachers gear up for the new school year! 🏫🖍️🍎🐝

We had so much fun supporting educators and young learners (maybe even a few future CPAs😉) in our community. 💛

2nd Quarter Estimated Tax payments are due soon! 💸

June 15th is the deadline to pay Federal Q2 Estimates for 2026. If your 2025 tax returns are complete, and with your returns 2026 estimates were recommended, please be sure to remit payment timely. 💵 If your 2025 returns are not yet complete, or if you are unsure whether this applies to you, or if you have experienced a material change to your 2026 income - please contact your ATLAS tax professional for personalized assistance determining whether quarterly estimates are right for you.

Though June 15th is the deadline for most state quarterly estimates, as well - some states may have a different due date, or may not require estimates. If you need clarification, please reach out to your trusted ATLAS advisors for assistance regarding the due dates that are relevant to you.

✅ A friendly reminder that the IRS has moved away from receiving paper checks as a form of payment, and recommends using secure, electronic payment methods such as IRS Direct Pay, or EFTPS.

The ATLAS San Diego team co-hosted an enriching lunch + learn panel discussion last week! 🍽️📄 "The Business Owner's Playbook" brought together business owners to share perspectives, successes, and lessons learned, while exploring the future of the business landscape.

ATLAS Tax Manager, Jacki Munchus, and Managing Partner, Loni Woodley, shared valuable insights alongside industry peers: Nathan Morgan of Tri Counties Bank, Casey Hopkins of Southland EDC, and Fredric Berger of Agents Insurance Services. 🤝 Collectively, they discussed essential topics including tax, business banking, loans, insurance, valuation, and more.

And remember – an extension only provides you additional time to file your tax returns; it does not give you extra time to pay your tax liabilities. ⏳ So don’t ‘sit’ on your extension longer than necessary because late fees and penalties may apply.

ATLAS commemorates those who fought for- and served- our country with true integrity and dedication. 🛡️ We extend our gratitude for the sacrifices they made to grant us freedom, and offer our condolences to those honoring and mourning the loss of a family member or friend on this day. ❤️🏳️💙

All ATLAS and CMMS offices will be closed today in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th (tomorrow).
