Pikes Peak IMA

Pikes Peak IMA The Pikes Peak Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants was chartered in June 1965 as the Colorado Springs / Pueblo Chapter.

The area served by the original chapter was Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Canon City. The chapter had operated as a separate association from 1961 until 1965 when it became affiliated with the National Association of Accountants. In February 1982, the Colorado Springs / Pueblo Chapter divided into two chapters, Pikes Peak Chapter and Colorado South Chapter. In 1999, the Pueblo and Canon City area

once again came under the umbrella of the Pikes Peak Chapter. In 1979, the chapter was the driving force in the formation of the Rocky Mountain Regional Council. This associated us with the other chapters from Wyoming to New Mexico. The chapter has received five banners in annual competition. The goal of the chapter has always been to provide educational benefits to the members. In addition, emphasis is directed leadership development of officers and directors, employment services to members, networking opportunities and social activities.
