Feeling the crunch? 🕒 Don't worry, we've got your back! Here's how to file your own extension on IRS.gov and FTB.ca.gov without breaking a sweat (or your keyboard):

1. Grab a snack 🍿 - Filing extensions is serious business, but snacks make everything better.
2. Visit IRS.gov 🖥️ - Click on "File an Extension" (it's like hitting the snooze button for taxes).
3. Fill out Form 4868 📝 - It's easier than finding Waldo, promise!
4. Submit 🚀 - Hit that "Submit" button like you're launching a rocket. 🚀
5. Head over to FTB.ca.gov 🌐 - California dreamin' of more time? California grants an automatic extension, but we still suggest paying if you expect to owe money.
6. Complete Form FTB 3519 to pay by check 🖋️ - Channel your inner Picasso and fill it out.
7. Submit 🏁 - And you're done! Celebrate with a victory dance. 💃🕺

The text directs taxpayers to a website asking them to enter personal information and credit card number. Wow, time flies when you're having fun! We're beyond excited to mark 24 incredible years in business. It's been an amazing journey filled with hard work, dedication, and a whole lot of passion.

Mary started By the Numbers with a strange love of taxes and accounting fueled by the desire to help people. We could never have predicted how that vision would grow and bloom over the years! We've recently added a new Enrolled Agent to our team and know more big things are in our future.
