Today marks 7 years since my husband and I started building our little family. ❤️
Over the years, I’ve learned how important it is to choose the right partner. Someone who stands beside you on rainy days, lifts you up when the ground feels like it’s slipping beneath your feet, and reminds you that you’re never alone.
As someone who teaches financial wellness, I believe choosing a life partner is one of the most important investments we make.
Your dreams, financial decisions, plans for retirement, and hopes for your children are all connected to the person you choose to build your life with.
You don’t have to agree on everything. But you need to be able to talk openly about money, respect each other’s values, and work toward a future you’re both excited about.
Today, I want to tell you a little about my husband.
He’s one of the most intelligent people I know: kind, generous, supportive, and incredibly humble.
Every week, he brings me fresh flowers. Every morning, he makes my favorite masala chai, exactly the way I like it.
He’s not a man of grand promises or big speeches. He’s a man of action. He shows up, follows through, and does what he says he’ll do.
And you know what I love most? Even when we disagree, the flowers and the chai don’t stop. ❤️
Because love isn’t about agreeing on everything. It’s about respect, kindness, and choosing each other, even when you see things differently.
Seven years later, I’m reminded that wealth isn’t just about money. It’s about the life you build, the dreams you share, and having someone beside you through it all.
One cup of chai, one bunch of flowers, and one day at a time.
Happy 7 years to us. ❤️
