Q #1: Whats a safe amount to put into any initial Crypto-Investment?
Ans: It depend, look at it this way, what are you most comfortable with base on your understanding of the markets? $100-$500, $500-$1,000, $10,000-$25,000 Etc, Etc
What it comes down to, is how much research have you done? the research is important because it dose influence your confidence level.
