Mellody Hobson grew up in financial instability — electricity cut off, evictions, and a mother who couldn't secure bank loans due to racial barriers.

Today, she serves as Co-CEO and President of Ariel Investments, one of the largest minority-run investment firms in the country, and a nationally recognized voice on financial literacy.

As the first in her family to graduate from college, Hobson has spent her career breaking down barriers and teaching others how to build wealth. Her message? Be brave, take risks, and never let your starting point define your finish line.
Your story doesn't have to look like anyone else's. If you're ready to take that next step, I'm here to support you.

Muriel Siebert earned the nickname "The First Woman of Finance" for good reason.
In 1967, she became the first woman to purchase a seat on the New York Stock Exchange, a move that required her to personally ask nine men to sponsor her application, with one finally agreeing.

She later became the first woman superintendent of banking for New York State and built one of Wall Street's most respected names, all without a college degree.
Siebert proved that determination and skill matter more than background. Women belong in every corner of finance.

If navigating your finances feels overwhelming, let's talk. You don't have to figure it out alone.

Born to enslaved parents in 1864, Maggie Lena Walker became the first woman to charter and own a bank in the United States.
In 1903, Walker founded St. Luke Penny Savings Bank in Richmond, Virginia, creating financial access for Black communities at a time when they were systematically denied loans and banking services.

Her entrepreneurial vision didn't just build wealth; it created opportunities, transformed business practices, and inspired women from all backgrounds to enter the finance industry.

Every woman deserves access to financial opportunity. If you have questions about your financial journey, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to help.

In 1870, Victoria Woodhull became the first female stockbroker on Wall Street, with only three years of formal education.

At a time when women couldn't vote and faced massive barriers to financial independence, Woodhull opened her own brokerage firm and proved that expertise, not credentials, defines success in finance.

She also became the first woman to run for U.S. President in 1872, but it's her Wall Street legacy that opened doors for generations of women in finance.

Women have always belonged in finance. If you're ready to start building your financial confidence, I'd love to chat.
