Mt. Pleasant Office Hours Change

Moving forward, our Mt Pleasant office will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm, or by appointment. This change affects only our Mt Pleasant office.

All other offices are open Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Whew! Another tax season is coming to a close! We would like to thank all of you, and of course, our staff who work so hard all year round. We greatly appreciate you!

To give our staff a well deserved break, our offices will be closed tomorrow, April 16th. We will reopen Friday, April 17th at 8:00 am! (Please note that our Mt. Pleasant office will be closed both Thursday and Friday, April 16th & 17th.)

Thursday the Oskaloosa Rotary held an Easter Food Basket distribution event. Our Oskaloosa staff worked at helping to organize and deliver food baskets to local families. There were 172 baskets of food! Great job to everyone involved!

On Wednesday night our Burlington staff was able to attend the United Way annual meeting. At the meeting, our partner Brian Isom was surprised with being the recipient of the Game Changer Award! Way to go Brian!

Our staff is busy working away on tax returns, but our Burlington staff still made time to help their community today. They participated in Super Market Sweep held by Des Moines County Farm Bureau. Along with other local businesses, they bought groceries that were then donated to local food pantries.

To make a little competition, they competed to see who could get closest to a total of $250. In the end, over $4,000 of groceries were purchased between all of the participating businesses and will be getting distributed to food pantries in Burlington and surrounding communities!

Congratulations Pam! She is in our Oskaloosa office and has shown great dedication to the Mahaska Chamber and Development Group since joining. This is the 4th year in a row she has received the Golden Dipper Award!

Congratulations goes to Pam Newendorp for receiving the Golden Dipper Award.

Pam's consistent dedication is what makes the Mahaska Chamber Diplomats so strong. She is deeply involved with the Chamber through the Friday After Five Committee, serves on the Chamber's Executive Committee and Board of Directors as the secretary. Her commitment to the Diplomats - and to the Mahaska Community - is evident in everything she does.
