Eric grew up in Newhall Iowa and graduated from Benton Community High School in 1998. He went on to Wartburg College graduating with a degree in Finance & Marketing in 2002. Eric joined the Strellner Financial Group right after graduating from college. Eric holds his life and health insurance license and his FINRA series 7, 6, 63 & 65 registrations. He specializes in family financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning strategies, and group benefits. Eric is a former president of NAIFA - Cedar Rapids, which is the local chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Eric is also a recipient of the NAIFA Iowa 2012 Four Under Forty Award. Eric has attended several state and national leadership conferences with NAIFA and MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table). Eric is also a member of the Eastern Iowa Society of Financial Service Professionals. Eric and his wife Keevan were married in August of 2004 and they have three sons, Brody, Kellen and Rylan. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and chasing the boys around the house.
