🚨 S Corporation Owners: Know Your Red Flags

The IRS continues to scrutinize S corporations for reasonable shareholder compensation, distributions, business deductions, personal expenses, loans, and accurate K-1 reporting.

Proper documentation and consistent recordkeeping are essential to protect your business and support the deductions you claim.

A red flag doesn’t mean you can’t claim a deduction—it means you need to document it and apply the tax law correctly.
