I had a pretty good "win" for the end of the day. Client called and said that they just got their $5,577.34 refund in their account that I submitted an amended tax return for that another preparer messed up on. Submitted the return 1.5 years ago. I looked it up and called the client and reported that another $3,419.00 was on the way also from another amended return submitted 1.5 years ago that the same preparer messed up on. Thing is, we only requested $7,500.00. Do the math on that! Almost $1500.00 in interest!

So yes, I will fight to get your money back for you. It might take some time for our slow government to get their act together, but I play the long game. I wait them out, keep checking, keep calling, and keep fighting for what is rightfully yours!
