Coming down to the wire for tax season! The due date is April 19th, 2022. The IRS is behind in sending out refunds once again. In addition to a shortage of help, they are backlogged with issues regarding all the credits that taxpayers are eligible for. The additional child tax credit, the recovery rebate credit, earned income credit, etc.
Some people are getting refunds inn21 days, but many will wait 90-120 days. The IRS promises that by December things will be back to normal, whatever that is.
