It’s a question we hear A LOT lately.

And honestly, in this weird economy, it’s understandable. Business owners are looking for reassurance. Are sales slowing down for everyone? Are expenses climbing across the board? Are we the only ones feeling the pressure?

But here’s something we remind our clients:

Comparison is the thief of confidence, especially in an unpredictable economy.

Two businesses in the same industry can be experiencing completely different realities. Different overhead, different cash flow, different customers, different goals.

Just because another business is growing doesn’t mean yours is failing. And just because someone else is struggling doesn’t mean you should be comfortable standing still.

Instead of asking, “How is everyone else doing?” start asking:

📊 Are my numbers telling me something I need to address?

💰 Is my business financially healthy?

📈 Am I making decisions based on facts or fear?

The most important numbers aren’t your competitors’. They’re YOURS.

Because understanding your business will always be more valuable than comparing it to someone else’s.

Different businesses. Different challenges. Different definitions of success.
