In a profane exclamation when Biden got off the Phone with Putin, the longest call between them during his presidency, when trying to stop Putin from invading Crimea, Biden criticized former President Barack Obama’s handling of Putin’s invasion of Crimea in 2014, concluding that “Barack never took Putin seriously".

In 2021 the IRS initiated a program they called, "Operation Hidden Treasure". The service has spent $47 Million on consultant companies and hired 600 employees to this effort. In a report issued in July this program was determined to have "lacked any enforcement deliverables". In other words, they threw the money into a black hole of waste....

The stats are in for 2021. The top 1% of filers in 2021 paid 45.78% of all U S Federal taxes. The top 1% of earners make $682,577 or more. The bottom 50% of filers paid 2.34% of federal taxes. Bottom half is comprised of those making less than $46,637.

The Supreme Court has dealt a blow to the Treasury and IRS when it comes to some cases. Because of the Chevron decision, taxpayers can more easily challenge unreasonable Treasury and IRS decisions since they no longer receive automatic deference. Thank you, Supreme Court!!
