I need some honest feedback.
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about whether it still makes sense for Forbes & Associates to maintain a physical office.
Many of you know bits and pieces of what’s been going on in our lives, but the reality is that things look a lot different than they did way back when. We unexpectedly became guardians of two little ones, have ongoing trips to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, more court hearings than I care to count, and now we’re dealing with the aftermath of an accident.
On the business side, expenses continue to climb. Rent, utilities, internet, phone, lawn care, software… it all adds up quickly. Several of the software platforms we rely on have already increased their pricing, and others have announced additional increases. As a business owner and accountant, I have to look at whether those expenses still make sense.
The thing is, most of my clients already communicate through the portal, email, text, phone, or Zoom. It’s actually pretty rare for someone to come sit across my desk these days.
So I’m curious…
If Forbes & Associates transitioned to a fully virtual firm, would that matter to you?
❤️ No difference at all
👍 I’d be fine with it, but would like an occasional in-person option
😮 I’d prefer a physical office
I’m not making any announcements today. I’m simply trying to gather honest feedback and make the best decision for my family, my clients, and the future of the business.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.
